| Miriam Slagle, Freelance Writer, Contributing Editor – Miriam Slagle is currently putting her English degree to work as a freelance writer and editor, primarily out of Washington, D.C. This has led to a rather nomadic existence that gives her plenty of opportunities to ponder the hows and whys of human thought and interaction while sitting in airports, train stations, and bus terminals. Happily, people-watching is not her only diversion; she also enjoys spotting grammatical errors in published books, bike rides, and farmer's markets.
